About Me

Background

I am from Schererville Indiana and graduated from Lake Central High School in 2023. I am now a freshman at IU Indianapolis to get further education in exercise science in hope to pursue physical therapy. I am currently employed as a receptionist at the Indianapolis Ballet. I have always been family oriented especially with how close my family is. My parents have always been my biggest supporters throughout my life. My mom has also been my rock and best friend through everything. I'm usually really upbeat and optimistic about things. I always try to look on the brighter things of life.

Life Experiences

Dance

I have always loved sports. I have been in softball, volleyball, and soccer, but during those sports that have come and go dance has always stuck with me. I have been dancing since three years old. I danced at my studio back at home called, the Indiana Ballet Theatre. I have danced many different styles of dance including ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz, and many more. Throughout all of those years I have learned discipline, structure, and respect. My mentor Mrs. Gloria Tuohy taught me from the day I started to the day I ended. She has always supported me and wanted the best for me and went as far as treating me as her own daughter.

Publications

I have always loved to take photos and when I got to high school I took my school's photography program. I then got offered a position as a staffer in my school's yearbook club. During my time in the club I have learned how and what it means to communicate and how to manage my time. My advisor Mrs. Carrie Wadycki-Cruz has helped me shape me who I am today. With her help I have become more confident in myself. She always told me speak my mind and to not let anyone walk all over me.
